This review covers everything you need to know about Eastwood insurance. Eastwood has seen a lot of changes in the short time it has been offering automotive insurance policies to its customers.
The company was originally founded under the Eastwood name back in 1989 in Fullerton, CA before catching the eye of Titan Auto Insurance, a much larger company. Titan is a member of the Nationwide group of auto insurance companies, but still operates under the name Titan in certain areas.
Eastwood Insurance Review
Because Eastwood/Titan is now under the umbrella of the Nationwide Auto Insurance company, customers should be aware of an alert issued by the BBB about con-artists who are not affiliated with Nationwide using fraudulent checks with the Nationwide logo in order to gain access to people’s financial information.
Besides that, it appears that Eastwood/Titan has worked hard in recent years to clean up some history of customer complaints in the past. Check out some of their ratings in the chart below.
|Ratings Agency||Eastwood/Titan Ratings|
|A.M. Best Financial Strength Rating||A+|
|Better Business Bureau Rating – Nationwide||A+|
|NAIC Compaint Index||2.07|

As you can see, Eastwood Insurance has great with both the AM and BBB, but not so much with the NAIC.
Eastwood Insurance Discounts
The discounts offered by Eastwood/Titan are fairly standard and don’t particularly stand out when compared to other automotive insurance companies. The following video discusses some standard auto insurance discounts available.
The maximum amount of savings you can earn also isn’t very significant. However, considering that Titan is a non-standard policy underwriter, you may find value in other ways:
|Auto Insurance Discounts Offered||Discount Percentages|
|Multi-car||0 – 15%|

Eastwood Auto Insurance Options
Titan is a specialty insurer that offers automotive insurance policies for “non-standard” drivers. This means that you may qualify for an affordable policy from Eastwood/Titan if you don’t qualify for one from a standard insurance company for any of the following reasons:
- Poor credit
- Having more than six points on your license
- Poor driving record
- Young drivers (under the age of 25)
In some areas, their affiliate company Victoria Fire & Casualty may also be able to help you get coverage if you have been turned away as a “high-risk” driver.
